The Glued Story
The Glued team is a group of young entrepreneurs interested in bringing overseas business ideas to Australian and New Zealand markets. Having travelled extensively both independently and as a team, we identified gaps in the Australian entertainment service industry that did not appear in Europe, the Americas and key Asian markets, and decided to introduce these ideas to Australia and New Zealand. Our team has extensive experience in finance, manufacturing, banking, human resources, sales and marketing, and consulting.
Passionate about leadership, education, 'start ups' and the Australian mantra 'give it a go', the team decided to secure distribution rights and import an Italian-designed technology offering to the youthful 'early adaptor' gen Y market. A self-funded and socially conscious project grew into a viable business venture. Glued’s first concept store opened in February 2009, offering affordable, convenient, 24/7 entertainment solutions accessible via SMS, internet and direct store visits.
Our mission at Glued is to develop long-term customer relationships, to provide professional service and assistance and ultimately to have satisfied customers.
Our vision is to increase individual and family leisure time by providing accessible, cost effective and technologically advanced entertainment options. Glued is linked to a global network. We tap into current entertainment trends and introduce them to the Australian and New Zealand markets quickly, ensuring overseas offerings are made available to the public and that we are not left behind the rest of the world when it comes to technology.
